I did just pick up a new Matco torque wrench with 250 ft-lbs capability.

You know, for those really big nuts.

sadly was told once by my ex......."you know they do sack reductions now..."

dont think it was complimentary.

Got my first Black Friday purchase in - full engine bay dress up kit from ZSpec. Went with matte gunmetal finish. I guess I was to scared to try anything's crazy like burnt or copper finishes.

Don't talk about it. I don't know if I am going to make it given my current situation.

Yeah, I will see after I get the bill for the car. ZDAYZ is $3k trip and that is a lot of money towards my rebuild.

250 lbs. That's kiddy stuff. You need a Hytorc hydraulic. 130,000 lbs.

Lol, all I'm doing is torquing wheels, flywheels/flexplates and crank pulleys. I don't need much more, lol. Honda crank pulley is about the hardest to torque thing.

Sunday and Wednesdays off for me. I have forgotten what a real weekend is. . .

Felix_A 11-20-2018 06:25 PM

Also, guy selling a pair of cats in the forum, originally asking $815. I feel ripped off. I sold mine for $200 on ebay. -__-

I used to work on stuff that you had to use a fork lift or crane to pick up the nuts.

Ohhh, yeah I only got to drive the little normal sized one. I didn't do bad, just remembering the controls took a bit of time.

You've taken care of me enough. I got your roundtrip ticket on Southwest (I'll pick up up in AUS or ATL, your choice) if that's the limiting factor - I've got plenty of points. I'm sure you can find someone to bunk with if I don't have one for you

IKR!!! :shakes head:

I want the copper (cause closest to Burnt Orange lol). But the white or deep blue would have played well with the engine cover and/or strut bar. Gunmetal was the safe (i.e. wussy) choice. A little disappointed in myself :( :icon17:

JARblue 11-20-2018 07:07 PM

Should have gotten the silver and then sprayed some Duplicolor shadow black layer and clear coat on it for the black chrome effect. Or burnt and figured out a way to find and pay for a Top Secret strut bar

JARblue 11-20-2018 07:09 PM
