I used 10-weeks of short term after the accident,,,but depending how you set up your % on insurance renewal...could be 50,60 or 70% of your base pay.
I had the 50% selected/as it was free & paid by our company.

That would be awesome if your company actually states "don't be a douche with it" on its employee policy website. :rofl2:

Never heard of that. I’ve seen unlimited vacation but it’s usually at companies so busy you couldn’t afford to take more than 2-3 was a year.

My company is different than I’ve ever seen. I get three weeks ‘vacation’ and then I get 8hrs a month ‘other PTO’. The latter hours are to used as sick/holiday/etc. Nice thing about it is if you have a holiday and you can work your 40 hrs on the other fours days, you basically can bank that day.

You should be able to do that in a right to work state. Isn’t PA a union state?

we dont do PTO. we just have vacation time, typically 0-2 floating holidays, and then we do not have specified sick days we just can use sick time but here or there and if it's like 3 days in a row get a doctors note etc.

i guess today is half over. got 4 hours left then home to change and then off to the pens game.

and tomorrow is friday.

JARblue 12-06-2018 11:23 AM

Ok well I guess that gives me an extra day to work on the living room. Didn't get very far yesterday - bunch of random obstacles slowed down work. Normal renovation shìt.
