He forgot to install the crossover hose between the 2 half's of the tank. Gas covered the engine and hit the floor. In the corner of the garage was a little natural gas space heater that was on. We watched the flumes from the gas make a bee line to the heater and ignite. The flames traveled right back to the bike. Toasting it. :shakes head: Well..... I rebuilt the whole bike for him this time around. :shakes head:

I worked with a guy that was in the paint booth when a coworker walked near the booth with a lit cigarette...

One Kero-Sun would heat my dad's garage from 20F to 60F in 45 minutes. The garage size was 30ft x 24ft with 9ft ceiling. If I was working with fuel. I would shut the heater off before I started to work. I also keep 20gal of kerosene on hand at all times.

i was debating on doing a small one in my garage for the toys but i dont wanna bump my heating bills that much when the Z has survived the last 2 years without extra heat lol

now i may put the GTR in my dads small attached garage over this winter :bowrofl:

My garage stays about 64F year round. It's part of my basement. Just wish it was bigger.

I'm sure that all of you up north have this but I have to ask. Are your garage doors insulated? If not this will make a huge difference. Ours is and I have been in the garage with shorts on and it being 30' outside with it being almost as warm as the inside of the house.

:iagree: Though even uninsulated, my garage stays around 55 degrees. Helps that it's built into a hill.

that one at my dads is connected to the house and the same 60-65 all year hence why the wine is there. constant temps makes better wine :tiphat:

my detached at my house no heat, no insulation. it def drops a bit in the cold. had plans to finish the ceiling and finally drywall it but didnt get to it this summer.

at my house its older solid wood garage door so not really.

my dads house his big garage newer style door i'm assuming they have some sort of inside meant for keeping the cold/heat in/out. never cut one open before nor bought a set of doors yet.

It will be 69 and sunny here. Getting prepped for this weekend fun in the sun at the track. Oh my garage is insulated and I have to open the door to cool off even when it's cold LMAO.

FP, if you been to Ohio Pyle. You've passed it. The StoneHouse Inn on RT40, over the Summit.

Updated my premium thread. Maybe you guys could offer me some insight. Please don't speak about it here. I feel prying eyes from international arseholes are still over watching everything like psychotic ex girlfriends.

On a lovelier note. Forecasted to get 6-10 inches of lake effect in a few hours progressing into the morning I got the snowblower up and running. Damn pull cored snapped. So electrical start it was. Should also buy a new shovel.

I'm no amateur! Astroglyde has always been my choice. KY is brand name junk. Now the recent purchase of flow in the dark condoms.... that's a different story.

And I just gagged... hahaha

unrelated note. Why am I seeing sous vide techniques ranging from 3 hours to 24 hours for a simple top round (london broil) cut of steak? It's a large lean cut, but I would think anything longer than 5 hours would result in a steak that would simply fall apart.

London broil is a pretty lean cut of meat. What temperature does it call for? I made a beef soup with Short Ribs last night. Simmered for 4 hours. It was soooo tender, considering they had trimmed off almost all the fat off.

bunk 11-15-2018 04:06 PM
