JLarson 11-14-2018 06:55 AM

It's entirely too early in the day to be dealing with nonsense from our customers' outsourced quality department.

Some of that “Get-Sick” weather, for people who have to work in it. :ugh2:

I do not miss working outside in winter. Our running joke was that my dad only accepted gutter installation jobs when the weather would be 33° and raining.

Rusty 11-14-2018 07:48 AM

:hello:

I'm up. Feel a little better. Coughing up crud from inside my chest. Going to try and go to work.

Tomorrow we are going to get a rain / ice storm. :shakes head:

When I got my Master Certs from ASE many decades ago. There was only 8 different cats. How many are there now?

Too damn many IMO.....:ugh2:

I got mine in the late 90s, there were 8. The last time I recertified, they had all changed to 16 general areas with 9 in auto & light truck alone.... good grief....:ugh2:

The tests are $41 each, plus a $36 registration fee. Since I'm not working on cars for a living, I decided to forgo recertification this year. I have better uses for almost $400

Notice they changed it from Global Warming to Climate Change. :rofl2: It's to cover up their lies for when it gets cold. Climate changes all the time. They blame the cold weather on warming and co2. :icon14: They really did not count on the sun's effect. From solar max to solar min, which we are entering.

I've seen idiots who passed the tests and didn't know a metric adjustable wrench from a standard adjustable wrench. :icon14:

I used to deliver parts to those guys....:ugh2:

The former NTB (now Big O tires) were notorious for breaking lugs and stripping lug nuts on customer cars, then charging them to replace them.:eek:

I get my tires from either Discount Tire or Tire Rack. The Tire Rack ones go to KC Trends to be mounted.:tup:

nah. i dropped a bit and eating better has improved my game.

my movement in net has felt a lot better lately. feeling like i have been doing more but while doing less. doesnt feel like i need to exert myself as much to make the harder saves.

gotta remember i graduated at maybe 135lbs and was dropping 10lbs twice a week to wrestle 125lbs lol

i did hit 190 a couple years back and not a good look for me. currently hovering between like high 150 to low/mid 160 range.

Frickin light weight. :rofl2: I came out of high school at 245. The heaviest I've been was 260. I'm at 210-215 now. The older I get. The less weight I want to carry. I'm good where I'm at now.

You want to lose weight quick. Get sick.
