Not that much. Spent time on the Z from about 3-5 this afternoon. Then mowed the yard and did some laundry to get ready for date. Just got back. Very sweet girl. And pretty. We just have nothing in common...

Arc combo tank purchased. Should be here by the middle of next week. I can't wait to get it and let it sit in my garage for years!! :excited: :wtf2:

Yes. In fact I’m running a Z one cut it’s two pieces and the Infiniti is one piece. Makes it easier for me to check vacuum lines and such.

Rusty 09-21-2018 11:44 PM

Well........JL showed up about 7:30. Fed him burgers and corn on the cob. :yum: After we got done eating. We started to bust azz and spin wrenches about 8pm. JL did most of the wrenching with me giving directions. Got the diff out. Checked backlash. His was almost .003". Checked ring and pinion tooth pattern. It was good too. Cleaned the inside of the diff. Installed the new Z1 diff cover. The diff is ready to go back in. We called it a night at midnight. Got a lot done in 4 hours.

Rusty 09-21-2018 11:52 PM

On a side note. Before JL showed up. I finished cutting grass. I put the mower away in the metal shed. Which has a 5ft tall door. I'm 6'2". As I ducked down to walk through. I hit my head. Dropped me to my knees. Put my hand on top of my head. Had blood everywhere. Go into the house and call for the wifey. She looked and said that I looked like I was scalped by indians. I got a good size piece of skin missing. :shakes head: And my head still hurts. I was hoping that I didn't have to go to the hospital before JL came.

Visiting Rusty was the right call. Excellent hospitality, and professional guidance through what would've been a very much more time consuming process for me alone. A++, would recommend Russ's Z Service Station to a friend.

Plus his wife made us dessert :yum.
Will update further after coffee and progress.

We're up. Made omelets for breakfast. :yum: Head still hurts. Along with my jaw. Hard time sleeping last night. Couldn't find a spot on the pillow without laying on the bad spot. :shakes head: Getting ready to start again on JL's Z. Time to remove the old diff bushing.

BoneZ; if you aren’t quite out enough with the 10mm’s.....you can always slip a 5 on as well. Should be plenty of stud for that.

Also viewing from the front will look way more aggressive than from the rear,,,just make sure your plumb line drops down center of wheel.
Looking good in the pics you posted

Nothing piZZes me off more than when I smash my head ( not hit but smash )
Tues.when I smashed mine there wasn't a lot of blood, but it was in the same place I smashed it 2 weeks earlier and both times It took out a major chunk of skin! I fu*kin hate that! I was done for the day, I was soooo piZZed off!

Earlier in the summer I smashed it & I had skin and some of the last hair follicles I have left in side my hat, also heard the vertebrae in my neck crunch :shakes head:
Hope you guys have a good day today

Still summer here in Las Vegas. Playing softball and it still 100*! The fields are astroturf which makes it even hotter.

Well I pick up the car last night and I am really please with the service. Met a Airforce aircraft mechanic that drive a time attack z. It was a good time talking cars and tracking.

LOL the car talk turned to gun talk. The owner has a AR and glock model 22 in 40 cal for sale. Both guns for $1200. I think I gonna take them off his hands.

I used to have a Glock 22. I sold it with my IS300. Reason being I was trying to minimize the different caliber pistols I owned. Dumb, should of kept it.

I actually just got done with putting the +10mm studs in and getting everything buttoned up properly. Outer wheel well is even with the wheels all the way around. I might still pop some 5's on there in the future though. We'll see.
