I personally love the specs of my VMRs for the street, along with the look.
They fit wide enough tires to be dangerous. 19x9.5 +25, 19x10.5 +22. I can drop some pictures for reference for how they sit in the wheel well if you want. 19s just look damn good on the Z, but obviously 18s are cheaper, and if you go square you can rotate your tires.

I like the stagger setup for DD purposes because it adds some natural understeer to the car. Makes it a bit more docile when youre just doing a high speed cruise through corners instead of actually having to be on the dime with your inputs.

yea the base wheels dont give much of an option to go wider. 19's will def help out with gaining some grip.
