BoneZ, its probably weather sealant(Sorry for being a day late)

When i installed my wing there was a gap. We went apeshit with 3M tape around the entire outside of the wing as a "Sealant" instead, plus my wing is NEVER coming off lol.

They probably just put it so no water makes its way into your trunk. God forbid some might make it in mine seeing how shitty we did the install. I have 4 giant holes because we kept messing up our holes so we said screw it and made them huge so there was no room for error :P

Seen a nice sight today on I 70 in Missouri. Got past by a SL-C SuperLight.

At over 100 mph.

Then by a truck pulling a trailer with a SL-C on it couple of minutes later.
