There was a bar that opened at 7 am and they started serving pizzas for the third shift workers. That was always a treat instead of having to order breakfast foods.

Yeah. There was a bar next to a steel mill here. Allenport Mill. The bar never closed. You could have a dinner at any time of day. They served alcohol from 10 am in the morning to 2 am at night. State law. Day light and afternoon shifts would drink their lunches, and midnight would eat real food. :rofl2: The bar was packed at shift changes. :eek: The bar was called the "Hard Hat Cafe". :rofl2: Both are gone now. :(

Some might be from me.I have given reps without comment.When you start on forum it is not clear on how to do this correctly.I would like a quick run down on reps etiquette.

I am not so sure I like flying on Fridays -- it seems like all the rookies and neophytes are out today. At least in the Sky Club there is a little quiet...

Easiest way is to type something like "Repped by BaronSmokes" or something clever like "BS Reps distributed" or "These reps are BS!"

There is a way you can also check to see who has given you reps in your account settings, I'd have to check where. It's considered polite to rep the people who rep you. That's basically it!

Ahhh yes the airport life. Must say a weird part of me has missed it the last 18mo, looking forward to returning to consulting.

when you click on the rep icon, another window will open, then you would type something at the end of whatever you wrote, just leave your name so we know WHO to rep in return.:tup:

The upper left hand of the page you are reading. There is "User CP". Click on that. It will show "New Subscribed Threads". Scroll down . You will see "Latest Reputation Received". And that's it.

8 reps in 24 hours ain't cutting it. :mad: Need to get out more reps!

When you reply to a post. Use the "Post Reply". Not the "Quick Reply". Over on the right. Where you see the icons. On the bottom left. There is (More). Click on that. That will open up a new page with more icons. Copy and paste the text.
