Great movie. They shot that opening just down the road from our studios.

26 weeks ago today; My ~Z~ was destroyed by uninsured motorist & nearly took me out with it! Crushed L2 disc & Broken Pelvis at the groin on left side...very thankful to be alive & healing well. Only missed 10weeks of work & was able to make it to Zdayz this year.
A Tylenol or Advil every now & again for soreness-but no pain.
I miss my ~Z~ very much; but hopefully in the next couple months,I’ll be in a position to get another one. I don’t visit as many threads as before,,,but appreciate the Friends that communicate with me on the ones I do. Very Stormy outside here tonight; everyone be safe-as I attempt to readjust my sleep pattern for swing shift starting Monday.
:)

The insurance company hasn't settled with you yet? 6 months is way too long. I would be getting on their azz. Time for a lawyer. They made promises that they ain't going to keep. They are just dragging this out. :shakes head:

Attorney has it; he says that they have up to one year before he files lawsuit against them.
Hopefully it doesn’t go that long.

I'm a Johnny come lately to this thread, read about your accident after you were already on the mend, I'm sooo glad you were able to bounce back as fast as you have, quite the miracle
As for the insurance co.:gtfo2:
The storms you're experiencing, it's what I've been dealing with since fri. it's an upper level low system moving very slowly across the mid part of the country & you'll probably be dealing with thunder showers or rain for the next couple days!
If your like us here in Mich. you probably needed the rain :hello:

Omg. Tuesday was one of the scariest days of my life. While gassing up at the arizona border, my brothers friend called. He said the ICU nurse said my brother was in bad shape and that they wanted family at the hospital NOW. They put breathing tube, his pH level was 6.4, blood pressure low (forgot the numbers) blood sugar 44, and infections everywhere. Doc said he was dying in front of their eyes.
Put him on 3 blood pressure IVs, tons of antibiotics, and dialysis. Wed he made HUGE improvements and by friday he was off all BP meds. Hes still in ICU and on dialysis. His kidney may have taken a big hit. They're extracting fluids via machine. Might take breathing tube off today.

This sets his stroke recovery back, he has left side deficit, so his battle just got that much harder, but man, hes a fighter. Thanks all for the prayers!

Glad you are OK and recovering well. Hope litigation doesn't drag so you can close that chapter of your life. Beat of luck and hopefully your back in a toy soon!

This is going to end up in a lawsuit I'm afraid. :(

Safe travels to the first 2. The last one. Don't trip coming back from the kitchen with a plate full of food.

I'm just saying,
I'm not the suing type, but if you have to go to court, go for the jugular!
Two things I dislike most in life are insurance companies & the cable company
IMHO two of the biggest ripoffs :gtfo2:

Jlarson is also tired. Saw Jurassic World on Saturday with the wife (I'm a sucker for anything with dinosaurs) and went to Lancaster, PA to the Shady Maple Smorgasbord. If any of you come this far into PA and enjoy vast quantities of food, it's well worth the trip!

Lancaster is certainly the place to go for Amish stuff. Love the buffet though... only place where I can't help but eat the donuts. It's like an orgy for my taste buds.

Lived in the West Chester area for about 6 months back in the early '80's.

That's probably 15 minutes from where I live currently. One of my brothers is in West Chester. Nuclear engineer, actually.
