You can't beat the NIMBY factor. While working for the AZ Game&Fish Dept. I had the pleasure of working with shooters and shooting clubs that had shooting ranges closed down for the same reason. The one took me 10 years to find an alternative spot and get through the Federal system. The other took the department about 20 years.

I think it took Auto Club about 10 years and I don't know how many millions spent on sound abatement. All of these place in no mans land before people got there.

NIMBY? I would love a drag strip and/or shooting range in my backyard. WTF is wrong with people?!?

These ******* people knew the track was there before they built there what did they expect? For it to be nice and quiet? God damn I hate people. I'm betting drag racing is going to skyrocket here since on their friday night races (which I went to) 800+ cars showed up each time to race.

Got a little more snow here then usual... 6” here at my house

Rusty 01-17-2018 05:17 PM

It's been snowing everyday here for the past week. Wake up every morning to at least a new inch.

On a side note. I still feel like crap. Missed another day of work.

It is a pain in the ***. All the hospitals here are teaming up to try and ask patients to keep their visitors and family away from facilities if possible.

madwi 01-17-2018 05:54 PM

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — West Michigan hospitals are pulling together to stop the spread of the flu.

The Centers for Disease Control has declared this flu season a flu epidemic.

Spectrum Health, Mercy Health, Metro Health-University of Michigan Health, Mary Free Bed and Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services are coming together in hopes of spreading their message as far as possible.

The hospitals are asking people to limit visits to their facilities and the number of people who accompany them. They want people who do visit their facilities to be healthy.

Healthy people are described by the group as not experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat, a runny nose or congestion.

The group is also reminding people most flu symptoms can be treated at home. Patients are asked to stay home from the hospital or clinic unless they are experiencing severe symptoms.

madwi 01-17-2018 05:55 PM

Does this help keep everyone out of the emergency room with a runny nose? Of course not! people are dumb and suck. :icon17:

We are way over due for a flu pandemic. In today's world. It won't take much to get it started.

Well, I just had a lovely chat with 3 nurses in the Center for Restorative Care. Right now I am headed to Emergency Dept. to finish up a little bit of work. More than likely I'll be swinging by the dispatch office as I quite enjoy talking with Joyce and Theresa.

Zoren 370 01-18-2018 02:28 AM

The Cameltoes and oops are still not showing till 6am.

Let me see...to cold outside to walk the dog at 3am?...hmm

Spoiler doesn’t drink coffee anymore neither drinks lizard tails.

Rusty is too sick to troll either.

Madwi is sleeping on the job as always!

Im too lazy to watch porn.

I’ll just go to sleep...good night!

EW btw my advice try not to go to the toilet for 3 days as I placed staples on your panus for the time being! :ugh2:

Zoren 370 01-18-2018 02:30 AM
