You would have been in heaven.

Contractor at work asked my coworker where he could recycle 6 (SIX!) cases of CAT6. He didnt want to haul it in his van for whatever reason. Co-worker said you can stack it right here and pointed at his desk. :icon17:

Went to work. Punched in. 20 minutes later. Punched out. Started to sweat at work. That's not a good sign. So I came home.

Figured out what's wrong with my snowblower. Blown head gasket. Now I have to see IF I can find one for a 25 year old motor. :shakes head:

If your co-worker decides to part with another one of those cases, I'd be amenable to receiving one for the cost of shipping. :happydance:

You'd be surprised at what's still available. If it's a Briggs & Stratton motor, there are lots of parts available. You'll just need the engine model. GL

It's a Tecumseh AH600 Type 1620 2 stroke. I found a head gasket for $1.25 each. Shipping and handling was $9.00. :icon14: Also need the baffle for the muffler. It's discontinued. So, I'm going to mig weld the pieces back together.

Apparently there was a missile alert in Hawaii Saturday morning. People were abandoning their cars on the highway to take shelter

I found out the following day that it was a false alert. I had no idea it even happened in the first place - I was out stalking bonefish in the flats with a fly rod all day :D

NyQuil, 2 percocets, a shot of moonshine, and a nice nap where you sweat does wonders for what ails your. The percocets are for the nerve that's inflamed in my right hip.

I had went to Norther Arizona Radiology today and had two ultrasound guided shots in my ankle...one in each leg.

Rusty 01-16-2018 07:52 PM

Got the motor out of the snowblower. Pulled the head off of it. Yeah, the head gasket was popped. What was amazing is that the inside of the head is clean. Bare metal. No carbon build up. Same for the piston top. No signs of detonation. Cylinder walls look good too. Very little scoring. This motor is to run on 32:1 gas/oil mix. Between my dad and me. This motor has seen 20:1 to straight gas.
