Next day, same contractor walks into the room and does it again!

Had a contractor in the power plant. They was testing relays. Mind you, we were running flat out. The relays they testing should of never tripped the plant. It did. We was plant black for 8 hours. We lost a couple million dollars that day.

My local SoCal area (Santa Barbara County) is expecting a massive storm, its awesome because we need the rain, not awsome because i only have 285 summer tires....

Kinda scared to see what happens, with the open diff, wide tires and stupid SoCal drivers... Wish me luck lol

Bridgestone S-04s, Like when it rained lightly they were alright, but were expecting to get flooding:eekdance:

Felt sketchy above ~70, i wanna say more so because open diff than the tires.

S04s are a pretty good tire in the wet. I ran them in 305 rear and they did well in the rain. It all depends on how much water there is on the road.

LMAO, you need to leave now! I would say head for high ground but there are going to be mudslides that run like rivers. I have an open room at my house if you need a place to stay. Hell come with me, I have a track event this weekend in Phoenix. It's supposed to be sunny and 80*.

I got a nor'easter happening. The rain is changing over to snow and ice. The mountain area is getting hammered with snow. The state just reopened the turnpike. It was closed because of ice.

Haha appreciate the offer but me and Arizona dont do very well. Every time ive gone there for family i get sick because of the heat.. and Id want to drive lol.

People are getting evacuated, thankfully i live a bit away from where i work, which is north so it shouldn't affect me toooo badly. Although most of Santa Barbara / Ventura is under evacuation / warning of landslides and bad flooding.

I had a 77 Cherokee Chief and that thing was awesome. It got bad ratings but mine reliable and it went everywhere I asked it with the only limiting factor being ground clearance.

AZ is that place for sure and that is why I am not moving. The geological record shows that this is a pretty good spot to be!

Next solar cycle is going to be bad. So I got about 5 yrs to pick a place and move. Looking at past history. East of the rockies with be covered snow. West of the sierra's will be drought. Alaska will be warmer, but still covered with snow. There was a narrow band in the southwest that was the goldilocks zone.

Spent many, many hours jacking up a '77 (maybe a '79) cherokee while in the canyons by Florence. That thing got stuck on all the boulders due to wheelbase. :icon17:

If the “Tire salesman” would make the coffee it would be nice...

Rusty 03-21-2018 03:12 AM

:hello:

I'm up for a little bit. Have nerve pain in my lower right leg. Just below the knee and down the bone part way. :shakes head: What a birthday present! Took 2 Bayer Back and Body aspirin. That's the only stuff I found that works. Soon as that kicks in. Back to bed. I'm off today!

Spoiler 03-21-2018 03:19 AM

Well Happy Birthday kid....

Knowing how many candles might be on that cake, you should probably get a burning permit approved prior to lighting that one up.... ‘ just say’in... :rofl2:

I'm past that point of adding candles to the cake. I started to remove them when I turned 50. So from that point on. I take 1 candle off. Now there is only 38 candles on the cake. When I turn 100. There will be no candles on the cake. Be like a new born.

Now I get to collect my social security. I get my first check in May.

Spoiler 03-21-2018 03:45 AM

Does the wife know you will be getting a check? She will probably want it handed over....

Spoiler 03-21-2018 04:00 AM

I see on breakng news, they just got the “Bomber”. I hope that ends that problem...

Hopefully someone buys the team of 500 that were working on that a beer or two... :tiphat:
