Neighbors to the left pissed me off buying knockoff Chinese batteries on ebay that caught fire and took down my garage next to theirs. The neighbors to the right are white trash pill poppers. So I have no qualms starting up my car early in the morning. 20 years ago.... This was such a nice neighborhood.

My neighbor next door is so funny. He's an old divorced racist curmudgeon. He just looks for $hit to complain about. My outside grill blows smoke over his way when the wind is just right. Recently, he actually pulled out some industrial wind fan from his shed and set it up on his back porch to blow the smoke away from his house, making this huge racket cursing all the while. When he peeked over the fence, I asked him if it wouldn't have been easier to just close his windows for 30 minutes (I've suggested this before ;)).

Overall we have a good relationship though. And he was super supportive when I told him about the divorce. He just blows up at the most minor things sometimes. I just laugh.

He recently bought a nice little white Miata with black hard top with supercharger. It's pretty slick :driving:

Used to go into a sex shop. Look at the gay magazines to get that post card for subscriptions. Take that card and fill it out with a co-workers name and address on it and mark bill me later. Co-workers would come into work and start bitchhing about getting a gay magazine in the mail. Said their wife would get the mail and see this magazine in there. And start questioning them about it. It cause a few fights. :rofl2: They never knew how they got the magazines. Because I never told them. :rofl2:

I also have taken all the cards out of technical mags at work and filled out 40 or 50 cards with just one guys name, each one spelled incorrectly in a different way.

About a month later that guy’s mailbox gets flooded with junk mail with each piece butchering his name differently.

I have to admit, I have screwed with a lot of people along the way. It’s really a wonder how I had ever had time to work.... :icon18:

Lein, regarding your questions on sound volume, a little more on this. Last night I swapped the 12" resonated mid pipe in, replacing the unresonated. Even with headers, the volume decrease was dramatic. Just further feedback noting you should be fine with 18"s.

I'm going to miss the unresonated version just a little bit. There was something epic about that shockwave of sound slamming into me when I started the car at 6 am... something wonderful in the way the neighbors shook their pitchforks and torches at me as I cruised by, rattling their windows with the low droning roar of my engine, unrestrained by god or conscience...

I am sorry, too. But it is what it is. I was pretty rocked at first but have mostly come to terms with the situation. We are still cordial with good communication. We are just working through what needs to happen to move forward.

I just got to the house for lunch after running a few errands. So far so good.

Order a top hat now. Mine did that while I was a the track. I was hard to start and then would act a little like fuel starvation. I parked it after the session was over and when I tried to start it for the last session she was dead in the water. I was glad I had my trailer to tow her home!
