So when are you guys getting to Vegas tomorrow and who is still in? I will be there tomorrow evening and Saturday morning as I have to be in Phoenix Saturday about 5:00 PM.

You'll be fine.

I should be arriving Friday ~10 am. I have no idea who is going to be there anymore. Everything kinda fell apart for lots of people so it will be a light gathering, which is fine.

Want to catch dinner on Friday night? I am not sure of activities so if you have knowledge of anything, please let me know.

Hotrodz 03-08-2018 01:42 PM

Sounds good to me, I will probably work most the day and get there sometime in the afternoon.

Hahah well I have 1 key difference... headers. So for me, the sound is immense, and literally sets off car alarms nearby.

You'll be fine. I've heard this setup on other cars, and for my tastes its fairly mild. Mine was actually too quiet until headers (keep in mind I went straight to headers, no HFCs) and only had some low frequency drone around 2200-2300 rpms - not a range I ever tend to drive in. With the 18" resonators, I'd imagine it's way more mild (I was running the non-res version).

JLarson 03-08-2018 01:54 PM

I didn't have any issue with rasp. I have very mild rasp now even with headers.

Leingod 03-08-2018 02:02 PM

Awesome. Much appreciated!! I owe ya a case of beer whenever i make my way down to PA!

People come and go. Life changes. Not much you can do about it.

I always like reading this.

reason, a season, or a lifetime.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed or just felt. They have come to assist you through a hard time, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. Then, suddenly, the person disappears from your life. Your need has been met; their work is done.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share or grow or give back. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They give you great joy. Believe it; it is real. But only for a season.

Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons—things you must build upon to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all your other relationships.

Think about the people in your life over the years. Whether they were there for a reason, a season or a lifetime, accept them and treasure them for however long they were meant to be part of your life.

And when they are gone, be thankful for the gifts you received from them when they were here—for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

The guy sent me video of the exhaust. Your typical light to slightly deep scratches on the canisters. All cosmetics. Welds look fine. I'm in! Money has been sent! He's even including a new rug as shipment protection. Hahahaha

My neighbor is a young pastor and eveytime I crank my engine in the morning he would be looking at me like wanting to throw holy water on me!

Due to my loud exhaust! He probably thinks I worship the devil.

FI question

Hello, I'm new the the forum. Been building my Z (2016 6MT Sport), stage 4, 4.3L stroker, stage 2 aam TT (borg warner efr 7163's), 1300cc inj, OSG triple, AAM Al upper manifold, 3" (70mm) tip to tail. She's going to be picked up in 2w and back in 8w or so. Question is it worth it to go for the ported lower plenum? I heard with FI it's not necessary due to the amt of air flowing through there, but I'd like to know what you all think...

Leingod 03-08-2018 07:52 PM

Soooooo..... Diffuser just shipped. Lol

I just finished swapping the 12" resonated mid pipes on instead of unresonated and all i can say is wow, it's a huge decrease in volume. I wasn't expecting it to be so drastic. But way more livability for long drives now. I'll occasionally miss the volume though.

Hmm you may have gone to the wrong part of the forum. I'd go for the lower with FI.

oops

Thanks, I'm a bit of a noob to the forum.
