The lower leg bone will be plated and screwed to hold the cut bone in place. So that it heals in the proper position. All of this is in the knee joint. The vet said it will be about a 3 month healing process. The first 3 weeks. He will not be allowed to do any running, jumping or climbing steps. When we take him out to do his business. We have to have him on his lease. He goes in after we come back from ZDayZ.
Glad hes getting fixed up. Thats also what we are doing at the moment, carrying him up and down the stairs, as well as limiting his movement. Hoping to get at least the MRI done this week.
