I say that cuz like Porsche Audi, they focus on seamless shifting. Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mercedes feel way more mechanical after pulling the paddle. Giving you a "I just shifted" feel.

that "shifted feel" is clunky lol. well at least from 1st to 2nd. I always feel like my gearbox is about to **** up on me.

I think there should be a balls to the wall colab for a Nissan GTR AMG. Get the crazy loud and exciting AMG engine then GTR the **** outta it.

Just like every halo car, there is a halo car tax associated with it. For no other reason because the company can.

Also, low production numbers mean higher end costs to the consumer. Sure they could have sold the GTR for 20k less... but then they would sell a ton more of them. Nissan wanted to keep the car exclusive. A halo car isn't meant to be seen on every corner, like a mustang.

On the other hand, sounds like your Nissan revival is already dead in the water. Sounds like another cost cutter is in place of Ghosn. I keep saying it... money comes first for Nissan, and little more. Argue it all you want, but by the end of the day, I'm still right!

Saikawa, who joined Nissan from Tokyo University 40 years ago, has been groomed to take over from Ghosn, who was dubbed “Le Cost Killer” after making his mark at Michelin and then Renault, Nissan’s main alliance partner.

“There is no difference between what I think and what he thinks,” Ghosn said at a news conference in October when Saikawa was appointed co-CEO of Nissan.

What can we expect from the new boss at Nissan? More of the same, meaning more cost-killing.

off topic but speaking of Porsche I had the pleasure of driving in a 2016 911 Turbo S... So I have a new goal now. 911 Turbo S in the next 5 years. I just gotta believe! Never driven in a car that made me cum in my pants so many times in a row. Literally had to pay the guy to replace his seat.

It's okay man. Life's too short to be so bummed out. What can we do? Nissan is a figment of its former self, and it appears that's not changing anytime soon.

I wonder if this new guy is planning on killing the z35 also.

What's funny is you really have no way how car companies work and get butt hurt that Nissan isnt bending to your wishes, while your bros high five you, thinking you're right (which by the way, you're not, because Nissan clearly doesn't give two squirts of piss about what "you" want).
