Keeping the 6. Hubs is finally getting a family car and the 350Z will become a weekend car. He's leaning towards a CX-5, we're just trying to get a better deal on one.

That will make things a lot easier with two dedicated family haulers. Are you looking for new or used?

I did test drive a 2014 model. Still hated it. Was better, but still complete junk. Steering was still loose and it redlined quicker than the Z.

so i ordered my iphone7 last week at the store. when they tried to process the $170 (taxes, upgrade to the 128gb, and some help fee) payment in the store it wouldn't go through, the machine was down. the guy told me to call tmobile and he added a note in the system saying what i wanted and that i would be trading in my iphone so i can get it for free. i call tmobile and they process the payment and i even confirmed that i would be getting the iphone7 for free and the lady said yes.

fast forward to yesterday, my mom informs me that she got a text message saying that she needs to call tmobile so they can send the iphone7 (wtf). i call them from her phone and it turns out the idiot lady put in two orders for an iphone7 and didn't even put in that i would be trading my phone in. so i had to cancel one of them and now i'm not sure when i will be getting my phone.

how hard is it to put in one freaking order for an iphone. makes me want to go drop kick someone at tmobile.

Let me know your thoughts on the 7 after you get it. I wanted to like it but couldn't so I went with a pair of 6s's for me and the wife.

One reason why I like Verizon is I've always had good customer service.

honestly the only reason i'm with tmobile is because i was grandfathered in for the true unlimited data usage. i use sometimes 40-50gb of data a month and it's all 4glte speed. if i didn't have that, i would switch to verizon lol

No, but I expect a little more "fun" out of it compared to a corolla or base Civic. Don't promote decades worth of a heritage and make it suck ***.

I saw one of those at a cars and coffee event a few months agO! I liked it. Opening the door from the front was different. Sadly, they wanted 42k for it.

that's true, i think they stopped making it what it used to be. my fave one was from 99-00. that one was a beast compared to others during that time.

i'd be afraid to drive it. a person driving a smart car could kill you by crashing into you

That's what everyone says. Early 2000's were the last "great" Civics. This new junk is just atrocious. The 2003 CR-V I test drove had more feeling in the steering than my Civic. It's a joke of a "sporty" car.

I get nervous driving the Z at times when around massive bro-trucks or 18 wheelers. Can only image trying to drive a smart car or a 1950's isetta.

Ghostvette 09-15-2016 08:43 AM

Smart cars are so hilarious. They look like you could knock them over with a feather. :ugh2:

I saw one that had a bumper sticker that read 'H3 escape pod'...

yup they were. when you would hit vtec it would go bwahhhhhhhhhhhhh. loved hearing that sound. i would always redline lol

yeah where i live there's a lot of lifted trucks. once there was a guy behind me i could literally fit below his truck how high it was lol. i was hoping he was paying attention otherwise he would run over me :icon14:

Leingod 09-15-2016 08:46 AM

Does the Z have any decent crash test ratings? I remember looking around the time I bought mine, but much wasn't available.

Car and Driver crashed their test Z by driving a stock car like it was built for the track and overheated the brakes. I'm pretty sure the driver lived :twocents:

There are several threads here about people wrecking their cars. IIRC most were buttraped by inattentive drivers....:ugh2:

Mr. Onzedge is still alive. His original 370Z got trashed pretty good by a pickup truck that pulled out in front of him.
