Motored the GTI, same roads I take the STI and Z. In a word them Junkooks faking sucksarse.

Dey should be banned from selling tires in the USA. Dey are like da shittiest tires I have driven on a performance oriented car. Wtf is VW thinking?!

And I'm still in break in, only took it maybe 60-65% of the car's expected potential and tires can't even hold the car all dat well through turns. Dey are faking pissing me off.

Given said dat, da car is pretty dogdamn convincing.

. It was a fun drive.

Da DSG is kinda iffy while coming up to a stop, not stopping and accelerating. I manually shift into 1st but the computer is like

and almost a 2 sec pause.

I think I need to downshift a tad earlier into 1st so dat the car knowz for certain it's in 1st.

2-1 downshifts are pretty firm in the DSG and depending on the rpm can't sort of fight against you if you get what I mean. With the tune you can adjust when it downshifts to your driving style then it's all good.

I did my 3 hrs of driving today and now my wife is driving the next 3 hrs to Phoenix. Should be there by lunch and then check into the hotel and enjoy the pool and fitness center.
