I loved running audio for clueless singers. They'd signal for more gain or whatever into the speakers or mic even though we did rehersals beforehand. I'd have audio set up

I loved running audio for clueless singers. They'd signal for more gain or whatever into the speakers or mic even though we did rehersals beforehand. I'd have audio set up perfectly. So i'd just touch a random knob and pretend to twist it. 90% of the time, the singer would signal back with a thumbs up like I actually did something....
