Stand by for...

Ghostvette 07-13-2016 04:13 PM

Finally back home....

Monday: Get to work about 7:30 am, boss comes in about 8:30 am and says 'got a minute?' We wander into his office and I said 'where am I going?' He said "Toledo, to do an install Tuesday afternoon.... and you have to drive'... :ugh2:

Left Olathe about 2 pm, got to Indy about 10 pm CDT (it was 11 pm in Indy). Drove to Toledo Tuesday morning, did the install and drove back to Indy and got to the hotel about 6 pm.... (I hate 8 hours on the road).... :eekdance:

Flew back to KC from Indy and got home about 3 pm.... and I guess I get to do it all over again in two weeks... except this time it's drive to Omaha then fly to San Diego....

It's storming from 4 to 10 PM. I need to go to Sam's Club.

The Weather Channel said it wouldn't rain until Saturday this morning. :shakes head:

I used to dual boot Ubuntu and Windows 7 but I took off the Ubuntu since I didn't need it anymore. I might do it in a few months when I go back out to sea.

Thank you, he is calm for now but once we start driving I know he will be anxious. We bring his kennel because its the only thing that calms him down. Plus we told him we were going to take him swimming at fiesta island in mission bay. he loved it there. :icon17:

One of the businesses I'm involved with is making custom watches and accessories. Came across this pic on my imageshack and thought I'd share. A custom leather (llama hide to be exact) watch strap for a buddy who's into Supras. I'll need to come up with a Z version :)

I've been asked more than a few times. They would cost far more than people would be willing to pay for a collar.

Give you an idea a custom hand carved and dyed strap like that Supra one run close to $300. There would be two to three times the material and labour to out into a dog collar.

That said going to make one for my new pup one of these days.

The boys decided today to name him Zed.

That's awesome and good to hear they are being treated the way a family member should be. That's one down side to the military, dog adoption agencies do not let you adopt a companion due to us moving so much and possibly overseas. :shakes head: hence why we had to go through a breeder. But I'm glad we did since cooper has been more than just a furry friend.
