The pouring rain finally slowed down to a mist so got the car out for a little bit. Had been three or four days since it was out of the garage. That's just wrong.
Usually by mid July it's so dry here everything turns brown. |

What I am doing you ask? Well, I am up too dad-burned early... I am headed in the 370Z to a meeting at 6 AM, stopping at Marie's Donuts first. Then painting an exterior wall on the garage, hanging a sunshade, washing the 370Z, washing the Juke, packing and then grilling some meat of some kind... |
Sounds like a fun full day :D
|
For me after the fun I need to dyson da 2nd floor. Followed by cleaning toilets. :ugh:
Den a nap. :D |

The first 80% (getting a good shine) takes about 15 minutes. Getting every last scratch out... Takes what seems like an eternity. :icon17: Mainly I do it because the whole surface has edges and holes and what-not for the controls, and it's just asking to be burned through if you use a machine, so I've never bought one. You focus on everything in between the holes/edges and carefully avoid all that stuff, even by hand you can easily burn through. For a car, yeah, unless you are doing very small touch-up it's pretty dumb not to just go get a small buffer. :) |
