I was really nervous about the offsets. There is a little poke but I think once it comes down a few notches, it will look

Definitely.

I'll need a little less offset than you since I want to run 275/325's, and I'm not a particular fan of camber! Sitting around -2.5 rear right now and want to be -1.5 to -1.7 tops.

Am a bit nervous about the offsets too. Think that's why I've been putting wheels off

Especially for that kind of coin, I want to be fully positive it is going to land exactly where I want it.

No argument there!

I was checking out how the Nismo wheels sit on slidetoys 15 yesterday, and with some meatier tires would probably be bang on where I want them. Which is 5mm inside of the fender, measured at the bulge of the rubber. Fronts perhaps 10mm spacer, but that's just by eyeball.

That said he is stock ride height so can be deceiving too..

Just a rule of thumb. Most oems will run about 10-15mm conservative on purpose to be able to run chains in some areas.

Another reason why I only did 10mm spacers on my GTI. Looks factory but tighter.

I saw a base running 18's and some wild spacers. Looked like shittt especially from the rear due to narrow wheels and tires. Just reminded me how kids are getting their hands on these cars.

I thought of you when I was at the tire shop. A GTI hellastanced rolled through the parking lot. I chuckled on the inside.
