Most likely. But there's more work to be done, and they will cover 100% of the difference. There's one undershroud part he couldn't find, and I now that I look closer I don't see a line item for the cat. The final check was actually made out for $3100. It was less than I quoted earlier because of the $500 deductible that was applied. But I'm sure they'll end up writing another check in the end.

I'll be getting multiple quotes for the work, just to verify the pricing. And I have to get quotes for the new aftermarket items if they exceed the value of the OEM part like my Fast Intentions exhaust.

He was extremely polite and accommodating. I asked him about the chipped engine cradle, and he responded as though it would be ludicrous for him to suggest that it not be covered

that's good that they'll cover the aftermarket stuff.. i know insurance here wouldn't, unless you got insured for aftermarket parts

Stillen SC + Topgunz A2A conversion kit :twocents:

Of course, that's only if you don't get Fast Intentions' TT kit :driving:

just had the subway 6" chicken rotisserie chicken (double the chicken) with lettuce, green peppers, a little bit of onions, and a little bit of the southwest chipotle sauce.

definitely hit the spot. 62g of protein and under 500 calories :D

The base plan is actually up to $1500 per aftermarket part without any additional coverage. The exhaust invoice I just paid was $1559 shipped :D

I'll probably be increasing the aftermarket coverage as I add/replace parts.

Some tiny "swirls" left after using DA machine and polish. Time to bust out the real paint polishing machine for the finish work, the mighty Metabo rotary.

Just saw an identical Z to mine. It was for sale about 3 hrs from here for a while. I remember seeing it online haha. Dealership wanted 24k for an absolute base model 2009 with 51k miles on it.

The kicker. The front right headlight has condensation in it.

ChaseZ 07-15-2016 12:56 PM

Feel free to come do mine when you're done :p

The new pads and extra soft backer I ordered for my Bosch da came in yesterday so I'll get to it on the weekend.

Still contemplating if I want to lightly wetsand the factory paint first. It probably isn't the best idea but will see :p

Only one way to find out :ugh2: probably wont be that bad but watch edges and transition curves.

Even on known heavy clear I'd stay away from those. Not usually necessary anyhow.

Maybe I'll wait until end of fall to do it. Once the kids and pup are done running around the car in the garage - even though none of them are supposed to :icon14:

So work just upgraded me to a new iPhone 6s. I'm liking it. Fast and battery is decent. I'd use it as a daily over my personal Android phone. only issue is that my android watch is fairly limited in usage for what it can do now. No more fancy watch faces, replys to texts, etc. Not sure which I want to use....

Did you ever end up getting a Razer laptop?

I'm looking for a new laptop and I might go with the regular non-stealth one because the 'U' processors seem weak and I run a lot of VMs and stuff, need as much CPU power as possible

I've got a three week old unlocked iPhone 6s Plus I'll be selling if you're interested. With AppleCare too.

I haven't. i've been holding out for reviews on the razer core which is basically an eGPU addition. You can't go wrong with a HQ style processor. They can tackle 90% of what an i5 4690K desktop CPU can do. Which is more than enough.

Check out the MSI line of desktop grade laptops. They've come a long way. Also, xoticpc.com is where I have been looking to customize things. They can even hot swap some CPU's on some models.

I'm an Android person. Work just offered me a new iPhone so i couldn't decline. I love my HTC One M8, but it's getting a little long in the tooth. Bogs down at times, battery dies at 27% and has been well used over the past few years. i want to hold out until Oct when google announces the new line of Nexus devices. I will never buy a phone from verizon ever again.

madwi 07-15-2016 01:37 PM

I always buy mine outright. It's bad enough having to deal with a provider for service, never mind being tied to a phone from them.

I burned through the clear on my old Z.

With 3M fine rubbing compound.

By hand.

Maybe if they shot an extra coat of clear they could have floated out some of their orange peel :icon17:
