the 2.2 update? yea it has it now

well the 4G coverage is coming in january so i expect they will have some new phones that will support that.....

there is a rumored motorola 2Ghz phone that will launch with the new 4G coverage

The Droid X is a great phone, go buy it today.
I am the type of person who upgrades a lot, I have gone through all the iPhones, the last generation Windows Mobile phones and now on a Moto Droid. The only reason I still have this phone is because my company pays for it and I am not shelling out 400 for an upgrade when my company will in 4 months, hopefully.

Remember, with technology a new item is right around the corner always, but usually it takes a 2 or 3 generation gap to see any real changes.
