And I'd prefer a gun just to be on the safe side so I can take tires off over the winter if needed. lugs are usually rusted on from all the salt. But why not use an impact? As long as you thread carefully and don't push, they're fine.

lol u got at 1/4" drive impact?

wat's the inch/ft? probably wont even come close to loosening your rusted nuts. you'll need something more in the 200lbs/ft+ range for that.

btw, my dd sits in the salt all winter long. ive never had to use an impact wrench to loosen the lugs.
