Default Best exhaust setup for pure power!?

Hello everyone tried looking around but couldn't find anything that would answer my question.

Well my question is what is the best exhaust setup for pure power/gains? (cat back exhaust, high flow cats, test pipes, headers.) Now im not asking about sound.. I want to know what is the best setup for the most gains.

My current setup. Stock headers, Berk high flow cats, Stillen cat back exhaust. i don't think this matters but for intake i have the Stillen gen 3's.

What i was thinking Fast Intentions long tube headers and the HKS Hi-Power exhaust.

Is there a better setup out there that will give me more power than what i listed above? ^

Overall goal is to get as much power out of the vq with out getting turbos or supercharger.

youll never get close to the power of a turbo or supercharged Z. To get the most out of an n/a one without changing heads and doing engine work would be: headers, test pipe, exhaust, intakes, intake manifold and tune. that might get you 330whp or so.

Long tube headers, not shorties, motorsport cats (100-cell), low restriction cat-back, cold-air intakes and a tune - without opening the engine to go higher in compression and use E85 exclusively, not a lot else to do.

Take a peek at the Z1 400-hp thread as well - they have modified the induction side to optimise gas-flow on the intake side with Stillen intakes.

Search is your friend - I'm surprised you have not found all this already.

Well if you want to make more power then you have cats are not the way you want to go. Plus get a lighter exhaust which will just make the car feel better

The difference in brands is such a small difference in power that you would feel the same result. You're better off just going with the exhaust setup that you think sounds the best.

after reading your comment i went around and listened to a few exhausts and i have to say im torn between the hks hi power exhaust and the motordyne shockwave. i still want to go with FI long tube headers.

Here's a clip of the HKS exhaust with long tube headers on a G coupe. Hope this helps in your decision making.

PPE headers and motordyne exhaust.

No exhaust is the best, just remove the cat and everything behind and you're done, cheapest option too.
