Sadly this will come to and end. I've responded to trips as seen below and as you can read I'm sure you all can understand. There's no point in me doing this if I have to raise my rates only to cover fees. Why buy milk at the store when you have the cow at home for free!
While I have to it seems this is going to hurt everyone now sadly. I started this before Z1 and I'm only trying to help people. I'm not in this for the money. I make almost nothing doing this!! By the time I ship, answer 100 emails, the $20 is nothing. If I raise my rates to get my $20 back because I have to pay vender fees then everyone can just go do this themselves. Everyone knows I use MaXbore for the porting. I'm saving them money by doing this because I'm a retuning customer and he's making all the money. If I have to raise my rates because of vender fees then no one will use me anymore and just go staight to the source. This isn't fair to any of us as a community. Scott |
Scott,
I appreciate all the hard work you have done to make this available to the Z community. I've noticed more intake mods coming out ever since you started this thread I think it's awesome more people are contributing to the "mod bug". IMHO if I had enough people on the sidelines wanting to get this modification done then I would inflate the price. Look at your competition out there their prices are very outrageous. On the other end of the spectrum if you just want to avoid the headache I totally understand as well. No matter what your choice is I really appreciate your help. |

You are correct, the competition doesn't stand a chance but I think anyone here could find a local machine shop or call MaXbore to get this done. If I raise prices then I don't see why they wouldn't just go to him direct and save some money except the fact that I'm more convenient. If the customer does it himself he'll have to take everything off, ship it, and then wait a good two weeks to get everything back. So I guess it could be worth it for me to raise the price a little bit but being winter I'm sure a lot of people here would be okay with waiting two weeks to get them back. Idk I'm still on the fence about this. 1-2 sets a month I've been doing doesn't even cover the vender fees here. If I have to pay more vender fees on more forums then it's over. I can't swing that. Hell I'm already in trouble buying all the over head I can't sell now. Maybe Z1 wants 8 sets of TB's and uppers and lowers :) |
Did I miss something somewhere? Syno, I am guessing this awesome deal is coming to an end relatively soon due to vendor fees?

I have paid sponsorship. If I can change my name I'll now be Scott@SynergyComposites and my partner will be Shawn@SynergyComposites who will be doing the porting and also can make anything out of prepreg carbon fiber!! That's dry carbon fiber if you didn't know. Unlike a lot that use fiberglass backing with only a layer or two of wet carbon, he uses the real stuff! Prepreg needs a autoclave and its how all supercars parts and bodies are made. My first item we are looking into is a Full CF GT wing! Stands and all! Stay tuned!
Scott PS, example below! |
damn can wait to see that

Some small stuff to start...3D canards and nose inlets for CAI, more air to the top of the radiator, or whatever you can think of. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...ps64af33b7.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...psc4f5db49.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...ps7c5a25dc.jpg |

How about prepreg cf nismo rc brake duct knockoffs that are sized to match up to the stillen brake ducting kit w/o needing to fab up anything?
Cf IM manifold that's already got the porting for better flow ala z1 etc already in the design? Pretty and functional. |
