Say no to Top Speed. It sounds very regular VQ motor, nothing special to be honest. I think most sound like that, a bit better to be honest. The major issues with HFCs and TPs is that you get mute drone and hiss and rasp. Also never judge an exhaust by the sound it makes when it's cold or not being driven.

At the next meet ask for a drive in people's cars. You're more than welcome to take mine out. I let David take it. But unless you're willing to do a lot of mods your car won't really sound like mine

I don't think u need that many upgrades to have a nice sounding exhaust. its truly all about pairing things up the right way, without compromising parts that don't belong with other parts.......

I have mild upgrades. I have at least one person at every 4th light say something about the way my car sounds. Now yes I have no blow off valve or winding pulley that really catches your attention. but I think a full headers back exhaust with the right set up & tuned will give u an awesome sounding Z
