Hey OP welcome! and trust me F.I is worth the wait I'm expecting mine next week and quoting tony this is what he said..
Here is what I tell everyone when choosing SS vs CF.1) The Carbon Fiber will sound a little more exotic and promote more of a Euro tone opposed to the Stainless Steel being smoother and deeper.*2) The Carbon Fiber is lighter than the Stainless Steel by roughly 6 pounds overall.*In the end make the choice mostly based on the aesthetics. The other reasons play a small part in the equation. Now I am biased to the Carbon Fiber because I love the way it looks!
