Unlike the Z where the filters are tucked in for the Gen3, they are right up to the front grille, who in the right mind would want filters right there for daily driving. Dust, pollen and shit will make the filters annoying to clean and re oil too. Not worth having to remove the bumper all the time and/or the rad cover.
