Not the same setups, but for me I love my non res CF's with stock cats. I am also on Swifts with no problems. They actually set up a lttile bit higher than the stock set up.

FPenvy, good to hear your holding up.

Try with reverie, as far as I know one of my mates bought stuff from them, and they do silver colored carbon fibre. It might be good for you...

Hope this will help

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I vote for SS. Like you've already said though, it really comes down to personal preference. Me, I like the deeper tone from the SS and the aggressive look. But if you want a more exotic tone and/or a "stealth" look, then go CF. If you need a tie-breaker, SS is cheaper!

If you scrape either one of the can options, you have to expect damage. With the V2 muffler style it seems like most people have no issues as the lowers part of the mufflers sit pretty much inline with the rear axle/tires. I will double check with Tony to make sure I am not missing something about the CF mufflers...
I never said you have to be less careful. Please reread the statement you quoted.

All I'm trying to point out is that between the two materials one cracks under sufficient pressure and the other is more likely to bend under the same load.

I suppose the argument would be something along the lines of "When is that ever gonna happen?". Probably never, but like I said before, it's just for peace of mind (personally; the OP can do whatever he pleases).

15K or so miles with my CF cans and they are perfect

also sound amazing still.

I actually went with the stainless steel. Figured I didn't want cf enough to account for the extra amount, which would have been slightly over 2k for the exhaust. Once I pass the 2k mark I really start thinking about my decision, I figured the stainless steel is still an amazing piece. Thanks everyone for all your input .

Might be off topic, but would the FI exhaust non resonated be louder than my short tails? I want an exotic sound but as loud or louder than my short tails.
