carbon fiber hood weight question

can someone tell me what the difference in weight the CF hood is than the stock one? or at least confirm the weight of each one? thanks!

I believe the stock hood is 16lbs. And current CF hoods weigh a good bit more unless dry CF which is $$$$.

oh, i thought it was the other way around. i mean i figured people got CF hoods to cut weight, but i guess its for the looks. thanks for posting

We have an aluminum hood stock, which is rare for many cars. That's where the discrepancy lies.
