if the engine runs and sounds fine (the way it did before) does that mean nothing did get sucked up? and where could i go to get the gaskets installed

if the engine runs and sounds fine (the way it did before) does that mean nothing did get sucked up? and where could i go to get the gaskets installed at a good price, but where they will do it right? I am located on long island ny if anyone knows a good place!
