I do have a one question. Does a 2.5" tube allow enough air to enter the filter area - I noticed after my installation that you trimmed the aluminum flanges. Was that to allow more air in off the sides or just to make it fit? Also, were you able to route the tubes so they can't be seen from the front - haven't been able to do that yet. Thanks.
