What is "bottle" beneath intake duct on passenger side?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I’ve been having a hell of a time trying to finding this part. Mine is cracked, and I was looking to replace it

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I’ve been having a hell of a time trying to finding this part. Mine is cracked, and I was looking to replace it but I read in here that it’s no longer needed with a CAI? I’ve been attempting to narrow down a vacuum leak and was hoping these cracked pieces were the culprit.
