They sound very similar and most people will not be able to tell the difference. I designed the system and have heard more combinations than anyone. This is how I am able to know the difference.

Thanks, that clears it up....I might want the carbon mufflers if I need to get some weight out of my rear, but I don't want to make any significant changes to weight distribution (I am a Track Geek). My next decision is 18" or no resonators at all....hmmm...Just need to find out some stuff about drone and loudness

If your worried at all about Drone/Loudness, then 18" res would be a good choice to minimize both. And it will help give it that distinct tone that just sounds good to the ears

I'm not actually worried about too loud as much as too quiet. I want the FI to be loud cause I take it out on tracks where people could care less about quiet exhausts. The only thing is that on cruises and normal driving, I don't want drone. The exhaust sound will be fine on cruising, but an annoying drone could annoy me...I just need to find a good compromise...Anyone running no resonators here????
