Vegitto, really there are only 2 opinions that matter...
1. Who's car is it? 2. Who's footing the bill for it? If the answer to both questions is YOU. Then get what YOU want and let that be that. All further complaints can be left in the background while you cruise down the street. And if they complain during the ride, just press the pedal down further and let that sick F.I. (or invidia) sound drown them out.
