As for HFC's and TT/SC applications, I believe they do hold up, but you need to find out what type of core they are as there are 2, Metallic, and Ceramic cores. IIRC Metallic cores will eventually rust out/fail so make sure you're using a Ceramic core. Anyone else heard otherwise? Do I have them switched?
