I am with you on that! The smell NEVER bothered me with my test pipes on my G37! Truck is straight piped to!

finally started my Z again after about 2 weeks since it was like 65 yesterday here in PA and the COLDDDDD start was so low sounding from my F.I. exhaust was almost like subs in my hatch.

standing right behind my car i actually felt it thumping in my chest and legs for the first 30 seconds then it went back to normal.

I was worried moving to suburbia in PA that my cold starts would piss off all the neighbors in the HOA and have them

at me. As of yet 1. No one's complained and 2. It's not as loud here as I thought...

The smell never bothered with test pipes or with the TT. I want a way to cut down on the soot all over the bumper. But even that isn't a huge deal. It's fairly easy to clean.

Hey Tony! Got a 3" update for us?

That sounds more like a problem dealing with the angles of tips than the smell... Are they angled up, or not sticking far enough out behind the bumper??

I didn't notice it with just the test pipes only after I put the turbos on. So I don't think exhaust tip style or placement will make a difference. I had a Berk and now I'm waiting patiently (sort of) for my FI 3".
