Yup delay! Also talked to Tony today, and he was very straightforward about a one week delay, this will not discourage my excitement! not to mention my ceramic coated LTH extended my delivery date anyway...So i will wait patiently and expect to be totally satisfied with the F.I product.

P.S....Once i pay off my bill for the exhaust and LTH...look for me to post about my GTM SC stage 1 build!!!

And also for the new guys on the list, you'll want to invest in some of Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish. Works wonders on carbon build up. Here are some pics to show how well it restores the 'like new' look.

wow how did you manage to make is so shiny and clean? did you just use just a mf towel with the mothers mag polish?
seems like im not doing something right.

Ron 08-06-2011 10:25 AM

u don't even have to rub hard when using the mother's polish. Its AMAZING! I use it only on the inside of the tips. The outside I clean with windex.

wstar 08-06-2011 11:19 AM

I use the same mother's stuff and a microfiber towel, works great. Does require a bit of force if you've let it go too long and really build up.

When you're doing the cleaning part, use either paper towels or shop towels. I only use the MF cloth at the end once it's completely clean to wipe off any leftover residue.

Actually I use the mothers on the outside too because supposedly it makes a film to protect the metal and keep dirt from sticking... or so they claim. But it does make the whole cans shiny again. :icon17:

:iagree: I'm a real bad culprit of it because with it never being less than 100*F here until say... November, I don't get to go out and spend a day cleaning my car each week. So this job, which should only take about 15 mins, usually takes me about 45-an hour. (To do the inside tips, and the outside/cans.)

Thanks for these posts, the system sounds awesome! At 1:18 in that first vid, **** gets ridiculous! And the reason I don't have an AT is because I CAN shift :p

Hmm... I posted my dyno run vids, but guess it didn't stick for some reason, anyways, here they are again. Forgive the Audio on the 2nd parts of the video's, I guess the mic on my phone can't handle the 'power' that is FI :rofl2:

First part of the vids are taken from my GoPro so you can see where in the RPM band the exhaust is at. The 2nd part was taken with my phone. Sorry again for the audio. I'm working on getting a 2nd GoPro for better quality.

First 2 runs are in 4th gear with the 3rd run in 5th.

(And don't hate on the 7AT just because you can't shift as fast/cleanly :p )

Still patiently waiting on my non-res SS setup but in the meantime I went back to page 1 and read all the way back through 408...also doing the same on the LTH thread and almost done. Makes me want to ditch my HFCs for the LTHs those things are damn sexy

CB1 08-08-2011 08:59 PM

Can we get an update Tony?

Pelican170 08-09-2011 02:35 PM

Question - Someone on another thread said that a few months ago the FI exhausts were remade to allow for more room underneath for clearance, ex. lowering... Is this true? First ive heard and would annoy me a little since i just got mine in like May...

V8Killer 08-09-2011 04:10 PM

LOL nice question I was just about to post that one as well from reading the same thread.

Glokwork 08-09-2011 04:53 PM

Thats what I've heard from Tony about getting the exhaust to be legal in OZ with their clearance regulations. Nothing to be pissed about, its great news for everyone. I can't say enough good things about Tony and his products, he is an innovator and always trying to raise the bar and please his customers.

Ron 08-09-2011 04:56 PM

where?

Spoke to him on the phone yesterday about this. I was worried about scraping since I put swift's on and he told me about the improvement. He's an extremely busy guy so I'm sure we will hear his 2 cents when he has time, but in the mean time I was just trying to be helpful.
