zroland i am running the 18" res. with the rest of car stock. its around 2000 - 2500 rpm that the drone kicks in an its kinda loud but you get over that and it sounds amazing with top up or down

Thanks, I have place an order of HFC, 18"reson. and the cat-back exhaust. Interested how this will sound on my roadster.

As of right now I am waiting on my tips. It has put me about a week behind on your exhaust. However we expect to have it in the mail sometime next week.

Your patience is greatly appreciated...

Thank you, Tony

Only problem I now have is that I can barely lower my car now. the exhaust already sits lower than stock but I also have thinner tires and now I only have about 3 and half inch between the ground and lowest part of the exhaust.

This is my concern, too.
I've been thinking about lowering the car a little, but I'm afraid to drag my cans over bumps.
Any feedback from guys with FI on their lowered Z? (Yes, I tried a search... so save it)

Vegitto-kun 08-15-2010 09:30 AM

some people said its not problem but the guy who installed it did say "yes for in america this is a good exhaust but belgium is filled with shitty roads and huge speed bumps so in 3 weeks you will have lost some carbon"

my cans are abit scratched already even though I go like a slug over speedbumps

theDreamer 08-15-2010 09:32 AM

It is not about just going slow over speed bumps, you also have to angle yourself right. The exhaust is lifted when going over things, but think of it like when you add a front lip that is lower. You have to take entrances at certain angles and speed bumps differently.

Vegitto-kun 08-15-2010 09:36 AM

Well I do it whenever I can but most of the time cars are coming from the other side and I don't have enough room to go in at a angle that wont make it hit.

my front bumper protector thingy is so wrecked haha

theDreamer 08-15-2010 09:38 AM

I force people wait for me to go into an entrance. The other thing I do is go in known good entrances, sometimes it means going down a bit more or going the long way, but it is worth it.

well there are speed bumps on every possible road around my house :roflpuke2:

and forcing people to wait? I would get beat up pretty quickly :roflpuke2:

but I guess that if I want to lower the car I will need to get thicker tires again (went from stock 45(? if I remember right) to 30). or get bigger rims so they will fill up the arches more an get stiffer suspension.
