Well kinda bummed! I scrapped my exhaust today going over a stupid speed bump! It wasn't even a big one from what I could tell, but I kinda rolled over it at a slight angle which was not good. I usually CRAWL over them but since this one seemed smaller I just drove over it slowly and at an angle and the cans scrapped a little. Not bad but still some scrapes. Anything that can be done to fix this or just leave it alone? BTW I have a 1" drop on swifts.

You might be able to buff out some of the marks with an abrasive rubbing compound, and maybe smooth it out as long as they aren't too deep.

Looks really close to your bumper... :ugh2:

Vegitto-kun 02-10-2011 05:44 PM

used some rim cleaner I used before and used those rough sponge thingies, rough but not rough enough to scratch up the exhaust.

those + a hour of spray product, scrub and rinse

they don't sell that here, I said that before.

also yeah the exhaust if pretty close to the bumper. but that is because of major problems when installing it, tom had to mod the hangers and **** since they didn't work. I dont know the details but he thinks there might be some difference between the american version and european.

which makes sense, hell when I ordered my amuse kit they asked if it was a japanese, american or european version saying there are differences.
