Fast Intentions exhaust is here!

So...what is lower, the FI exhaust, or the chin spoiler? Or, preferrably, how high off the ground is the lowest part of the exhaust, and where are the low-points located?

The only concern I have about the FI's clearance is that the front of the can-style mufflers could catch on an obstacle like a speed bump or even a really crappy road.

I had side pipes on one of my Mustangs and ripped the right side pipe off when it caught on a speed bump...

I would be inclined to weld some sort of cover down there to prevent this from happening (if it's really going to be an issue.)

The lowest point is the front of the rear two cans. They are about 5 inches off of the ground. Keep in mind, where they are located is in relation to the rear tires and as the car goes over a speed bump, by the time it is on the down swing the front of the mufflers are over the bump. No doubt you will have to be careful and mindful of your exhaust. But you should be like that anyway.

Yeah, my side pipes were lowest at the midpoint of the Mustang, so they could easily get owned over a speed bump. I totally forgot to think about the cans in relation to the rear wheels. They should be fine.

Lowest point might be the end of the round cans.

I know I'm careful no matter what, but the only concern I have is when you run into a similar situation as I did when I went into the city (NYC) and enter a strip of road that had warped pavement (looks like the road is dried up lava, with waves in it) and unfortunatly I couldnt avoid all of these 'waves' and I went over one right down the middle where no tires lifted up and BAM caught some of the cross-member/exhaust....

That was both scary and blood boiling mad, but luckily, no dmg was done, just some scuffs...but man I wouldnt want to run into that with this exhaust and have that ripp a whole in those canisters.

Especially if your riding around as low as I am...

i guess i'll have a say here since it's chaos already...lol

F.I has a pretty darn good rep to the G37 community and they're exhaust setup is the most favored catback in the community

that is exactly what people should be considering when trying to figure out what exhaust to buy especially for new developing products... the identity of the company... please stop comparing the dynos... its just a number

I know this is REALLY late in the game... But I am leaning towards buying this exhaust based on I like the design. However, the angle of the only pic showing it on the car doesn't really show what I can expect to see with the car sitting on the ground. Is there another pic that can be taken from just behind the car on the ground, or do you have anymore sitting around somewhere we haven't seen yet?

Ok only question, and I hope it hasen't been asked/answered already...

This exhaust doesnt have the mesh section built into the Y-Pipe?
Reason? Or unneeded?

Will this only bolt up to F.I. HFC's or Berk's as well?
