As of right now I am waiting on my tips. It has put me about a week behind on your exhaust. However we expect to have it in the mail sometime next week.

Your patience is greatly appreciated...

Thank you, Tony

Only problem I now have is that I can barely lower my car now. the exhaust already sits lower than stock but I also have thinner tires and now I only have about 3 and half inch between the ground and lowest part of the exhaust.

This is my concern, too.
I've been thinking about lowering the car a little, but I'm afraid to drag my cans over bumps.
Any feedback from guys with FI on their lowered Z? (Yes, I tried a search... so save it)

Vegitto-kun 08-15-2010 09:30 AM

some people said its not problem but the guy who installed it did say "yes for in america this is a good exhaust but belgium is filled with shitty roads and huge speed bumps so in 3 weeks you will have lost some carbon"

my cans are abit scratched already even though I go like a slug over speedbumps

theDreamer 08-15-2010 09:32 AM

It is not about just going slow over speed bumps, you also have to angle yourself right. The exhaust is lifted when going over things, but think of it like when you add a front lip that is lower. You have to take entrances at certain angles and speed bumps differently.

Vegitto-kun 08-15-2010 09:36 AM

Well I do it whenever I can but most of the time cars are coming from the other side and I don't have enough room to go in at a angle that wont make it hit.

my front bumper protector thingy is so wrecked haha

theDreamer 08-15-2010 09:38 AM

I force people wait for me to go into an entrance. The other thing I do is go in known good entrances, sometimes it means going down a bit more or going the long way, but it is worth it.

well there are speed bumps on every possible road around my house :roflpuke2:

and forcing people to wait? I would get beat up pretty quickly :roflpuke2:

but I guess that if I want to lower the car I will need to get thicker tires again (went from stock 45(? if I remember right) to 30). or get bigger rims so they will fill up the arches more an get stiffer suspension.

JakeZ34 08-15-2010 10:42 PM

I have eibach prokit springs and camber kit and I have 3inches clearance to the floor from lowest corner of the mufflers.

Vegitto-kun 08-17-2010 03:15 AM

I now without any sort of springs. has about 3.5 inches.

damn thin tires.

Vegitto-kun 08-17-2010 07:25 AM

He probably got thinner tires like me. seems like your tires are stock. resulting in you having one inch more than him.

Why are you running thinner tires in the rear?
Also, what size tires are you running?

That is barely noticeable for this, you are running less than .3 inch of a difference from stock so nothing to worry about.

Vegitto-kun 08-17-2010 09:06 AM

True but still.

I guess I can drop the car like a half inch before I get into troubles with the exhaust.

The why question... 30 is thin tire for those 19" rims. You can bent those rims easy with the side wall.

Vegitto-kun 08-17-2010 09:15 AM

Well I got the rims and tires for a cheap price but afterwards I regretted it.

tires itself are excellent and are great on the track.

but the front rims are too wide for the tires. the set came from a guy who drives rally with his Z so he didn't care about the rims. the rims stick out of the tire and are already pretty banged up.

I hope I can get myself some nice 20 inch volks or something else. The only problem is that I LOVE the tires but yokohama doesn't make them for 20 inch rims.

Vegitto-kun 08-17-2010 02:09 PM

Got a pic and vid

Vegitto, that sounds soooo good! Can't wait for mine.

Vegitto-kun 08-17-2010 02:24 PM

oh yes this is just the exhaust, the LTH havent been installed yet.

ProfessorDave 08-17-2010 02:29 PM

How is the sound inside the car? While I'm happy to have a nice exhaust note for others to hear, pleasing my own ears is what matters most to me.

Vegitto-kun 08-17-2010 02:57 PM

It sounds awesome. I in a way am glad that our sound isolation sucks
