Default Stillen or F.I. exhaust for me??? help me choose

Gains is obviously what im after first and foremost. Being that they are both pretty similar in gains and price, they are the 2 i have narrowed my choices down to. Ill be doing a CBE and HFC purchase at the same time.

I basically and trying to decide if the now 15ish week wait time for a F.I is worth it. I like the lower tones Stillen seems to make but seems to lack unless u really get into the throttle. F.I makes up in that area and sounds like it always means business.

I after spending a few weeks in these forums and new to the 370z, i really respect the opinions of you guys and hope i get some good info i havent thought about or read about in here to help me make my choice.

The F.I. is worth the wait. What is the rush anyways?
They're both great exhausts. The reason I picked F.I.? Superior customer service, overall gains, and appearance.
The Stillen tips kind of bother me with how far they stick out. The F.I. is more flush with the bumper. The only thing I didn't like about the F.I. was the polished mufflers... and that is why I got them in CF.

I agree with anthonyy the Stillen just doesn't look as good. I just got the FI put on this week and I'm loving it. The sound is a lot deeper than any of the videos or sound clips. I would highly recommend waiting for the FI exhaust, you won't be disappointed.

I'm basically in the same boat. My concern is the FI muffler looks like it sits low to the ground and in the north east our roads aren't the best. Does anybody scrap? Anybody with Stillen exhaust have any input on the threads topic?

First and foremost, I think that you did the correct thing by putting your feelers out here on the forum. Getting other customer feedback is always the best route to take, In a lot of ways it is like "Consumer Reports"!

Second off, thank you for taking an interest in our products. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to call me directly.

Thank you, Tony

At our lowest point (when installed correctly) our mufflers do not sit any lower than the lowest point of the stock exhaust system. Almost two years ago we made a revision to bring them slightly up in the build process. It will really come down to your driving habit if you scrape or not. I have customers with lowered cars that have never scraped and some at stock height that hit within the first few weeks.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me directly.

Thank you, Tony

I have the first gen F.I. exhaust, and I am also lowered 1" all around. I have never scraped my cans once. And I have been in several places with crappy roads/approaches. As long as you take speed bumps and hills correctly (slowly, angled approach) you would have no problem. But Tony went one step further and made them even higher now.

Also, if you're worried about volume, Tony offers either 18" Resonated, 12" Resonated, or Non-Resonated CBE's to suit your taste.

FI all the way! I have their stuff and it's amazing. It has (IMO) the best sound, the best looks, and the best gains out of any other system. Every single day I get people craning their necks to see which car is making that amazing sound, and I get compliments on it all the time. A guy actually offered to trade a ride in my car for a ride with his girl the other day lol. If you're impatient, then order today. You have a few weeks to save up the rest of the money

I am the first one on the "moon" ehhh... sorry in Switzerland where the Fast Intentions system has built-in!

I can tell you only one thing: Take this system!

The sound (like a thunder, deep and spectacular)
The optics
The fit

Perfect everything!

Greetings from Switzerland also to Tony!
