Default Don't know which exhaust to choose

I can't decide which to choose over the Agency Power Exhaust and the Invidia Gemini Exhaust as far as the sound being the most important than gains. I know the Invidia Gemini Exhaust has better gains but as far as the sound which one is better. also i'm only 16 so i don't really know how any of these sound in person but i just want something you can hear at low rps and loud deep at those high rps.

Rps? Sound is subjective and even the videos won't tell you which sounds better to YOU.

wow, no "search" posts yet huh? lol

Man, you will get a lot of opinions, but the Fast intentions right now is what most are using. It has produced the most gains out of all others as far as I know to any other exhaust.

Ark is coming out with their Type 1 exhaust which sounds really good. A lot of us are waiting to see what kind of gains it produces.

Invidia is a cheaper exhaust (price wise), but it sounds cool and is a good price vs. a lot of people here have gone with that too.

Try to go to the Z meets in your area or perhaps some of the car groups that meet up weekly, every area has them. Hear the exhausts for yourself.

I bought the HKS Hi Power Ti and I think it looks the best of any exhaust and its deep and sounds good with stock cats. I put GTM resonated TP on afterwards and its raspy now, so I ordered Motordyne ART pipes to quiet it down, recover lost torque, and make it deeper.

My friends Fast Intentions 18" carbon fiber exhaust sounds much deeper than mine, but its also very loud IMHO. If I were to go another route I probably would have gone Fast Intentions.

Please listen to them in person. YouTube does not do justice.

Yes, I know these aren't the exhausts you're thinking about but thats irrelevant to the wisdom I'm trying to give you before regretting your purchase later on.

OP, if you need pricing on Agency power or Invidia let me know. I haven't installed the invidia on a Z yet, but I had a change to do an Agency Power one and it was pretty good. It was loud, but not in a bad way. Try looking up clips on you tube, they should be easily available.

The invidia would be my choice. Much more refined sound, and a higher quality exhaust.

^^^ I also like the sound of the Invidia myself... I think if you are looking for strictly power output that the F.I. exhaust with the motordyne ART pipes is likely the best combo... I don't know how loud it would be. I myself am still looking. I like the ARK exhaust tone A LOT, but I have yet to see any real numbers on the Type 2 and the Type 1 is just coming out and I want to see numbers on it as well before I spend any money on anything.

On a side note, the Invidia with the Motordyne ART pipes IMO sounds AMAZING and very exotic. It's not loud at cruise and inside the cab from what I have heard people say and the one video I saw was a guy on here who is from Dubai and he used to actually have a F.I. exhaust. I don't see him post anymore and I PM'd him, but never got anything back, so I don't know why he decided to switch exhausts in the first place.

I'm quite sure none of this has helped so I apologize for that lol.

If you're even remotely debating on the FI exhaust, or TPs/HFCs it wouldn't hurt to give Tony at Fast Intentions a call just to talk to him. You can describe to him what you're looking for and he can assist pointing you in the right direction (and I don't just mean slinging F.I. parts because he doesn't do that) but his expertise is invaluable and he can really help you with things if your personal knowlege base isn't 100%.

I have the Gemini and there is no drone. I stayed with the stock cats as I was tired of my wife complaining about my previous loud exhausts and she will drive this car some. The exhaust is louder than the stock but not so loud that my wife has noticed the new exhaust. It is 100 degrees here and my wife drove it the other day with the windows down if that tells you anything.....

I had the Agency power exhaust for a while and I loved it.. It was loud but not too bad. the sound was very aggressive which I liked. I then switched to the Ark exhaust and I loved it. It was aggressive but a lot tamer then the Agency power. your good with whatever you do though.

Well I was more or less just recommending that you listen to an exhaust in person before buying it. Regardless of what exhaust you're thinking of buying.
