I'm basically in the same boat. My concern is the FI muffler looks like it sits low to the ground and in the north east our roads aren't the best.

I have the first gen F.I. exhaust, and I am also lowered 1" all around. I have never scraped my cans once.
And I have been in several places with crappy roads/approaches. As long as you take speed bumps and hills correctly (slowly, angled approach) you would have no problem. But Tony went one step further and made them even higher now. Also, if you're worried about volume, Tony offers either 18" Resonated, 12" Resonated, or Non-Resonated CBE's to suit your taste.

Great response. It boils down to the drivers style. I'm not speaking for everyone but for me. My car sits low and rarely driven slow. My driving style + lowered + bad roads and driveways = scrape. Do you do custom work so that the mufflers wrap and tuck in instead of the V design to keep the pieces from axle and back from scraping? |
