Well I was talking about attaching actual megaphones to the test pipes, but of course I was only joking :p

The best and loudest option is probably a long tube header that exits out the sides, before the rear axle. This would probably provide some decent backpressure for an NA and also give you a LOT of noise. You'd also have to consider finding some way to prevent the header temperatures from cooking your doors (and potentially any passenger's/driver's feet and legs).

EDIT:
You might even get pretty respectable afterfire! With barely any room to detonate dumped fuel before the exhaust exit, you'll get some nice flames (and likely cook your door panel, melt the paint, and possibly warp your pinch welds, unless you plate the area with some steel). Another option is to change the stock fuel cut/air cut to an ignition cut. Better for the motor if you're ever bouncing off the limiter, and even more opportunity for fire and you'll also be running a 2 step!

i like this idea. the heat issue was one of my concerns with running open test pipes. i can feel heat coming up from that section even now with my full exhaust.

You could definitely wrap some of the portion, and also ceramic coat (but probably not both). A nice, thick ceramic coat should also help with exhaust scavenging and lower some of the potential that the exhaust gases will cook anything near them.

well it'll be up on the rack soon since i will be doing the end of the year cleaning before it goes to sleep for winter. maybe i'll do some research and see what i can do.

Some custom fabrication is definitely in the works. This is pretty much a race car setup, so you're gonna wanna find a good shop.

Something to consider is that you can have the pipe visible by running it along the length of the sideskirt (you'll probably want to remove the sideskirt to replace that whole length with pipe, since you'll barely clear the ground otherwise), or by going until the point where the stock y pipe ends and where the stock midpipe begins, then bending out towards the front of the rear axle. This would eliminate some issues with the paint melting, but then you're introducing more bends into the exhaust, which is never a good thing.

This would probably look a lot like the AC/Shelby Cobra.

You can also have the long tubes end right behind the front axle, which might be easier to manage than running a length of tubing that far back into the car, where it was designed to go straight through the middle until you get to the rear exit. Less heat transfers to the car, and you'll not have much exposed pipe, although it still brings the issue of cooking whatever is along that path, like brake lines, clutch lines, other fluid lines, etc.

haha youre making this sound like more work and heartache than fun. worst case i'll just cut the fckin mufflers off and put 2.5" pipes in there place and literally have straight pipes lol theres more noise, same heat level, and not alot of R&D time lol
