How would it sound with the stock nismo exhaust if you just change the H-pipe?

When all said and done we will test the h-pipe/midpipe combo on a stock base/sport rear muffler since we don't have a stock nismo muffler to test it on. It SHOULD sound similar but we'll see how it sounds! We'll also be testing it out with our short tails!

rear section is done and here are some pics of it tacked up. The h-pipe portion should be easy, hoping to have this all up and running very shortly here guys!!

Smallest set back would be clearance, which shouldn't be any worst than any true dual systems that do not criss cross in the rear. A few reasons why we did it the way we did, 1) least amount of bends, better flow 2) less bends = less welds, less chances of cracking, less labor, less cost!! As you can see the midpipe is almost at the same angle as the rear muffler, shooting straight up, no turbulence there

here you can see the difference in piping size! Our system vs the stock!

Johncy, I will double check if we will be selling it separately like that, After looking at how small the factory H-pipe and midpipe is, I highly suggest upgrading both pieces

No clue on pricing yet, I don't see this going into production anytime before xmas. I will try to do an introductory price for you guys though

Sales@AAMComp 12-15-2012 06:10 AM

yesterday the H-pipe portion was tack welded up, except the horizontal cross piece. This piece should finish on Monday

Hopefully we can test this out with the stock rear section and short tails very shortly after.

After the initial test, the jigs will be made so they can go into product.

AND THEN there will be an official release with all the information and pricing

Sales@AAMComp 12-17-2012 10:45 AM

rear section wedled up, h-pipe needs the cross piece and should be done here in no time!

Yup! And that's why we are calling it the S-Line Midpipe, to go along with the S-Line Short tails

Short Tails will be sold separately, so will the midpipe, we will package the 2 together for a "package" discount for those who just want to run straight pipes!
