Totally interested!! Would love to see the Mid/H pipes on my NISMO with OEM muffler section and LTHs!

You might be the first to do this! But we will be producing sound clips with this set up on stock rear muffler, on stock header/cats though

but you'll get the gist of it!

testing our first prototype piece today on a stock 370z. Customer already had our short tails!

sound clips with the short tails to come, we will not be doing a dyno/sound testing with the stock rear section so we will be offering a discounted rate for a 370z that wants to test this midpipe combo on their stock rear section in exchange for a review and sound clip!

we redid the intermediate section to have better clearance with the sway bar, pics of the completed H-pipe here!

370z with AAM Competition S-Line Short Tails 281 whp 233 ft lbs of torque
370z with AAM Competition S-Line Midpipe + S-Line Short Tails 301 whp 252 ft lbs of torque
+20whp +19 ft lbs of torque

gains would be higher if we compared from stock to this combination!!

dyno chart coming shortly!

No other mods on the test car, correct?

b1adesofcha0s 12-21-2012 02:50 PM

Did you tune it as well or just add the mid pipe?

370Z Purist 12-21-2012 02:54 PM

whoa, I disappear for a bit and these are done! awesome.

No one has volunteered to run only straight pipe? I have unres. test pipes and the short tails. I can't even imagine the noise.

Sales@AAMComp 12-21-2012 02:57 PM

nothing else done to the car, everything was on the stock tune

dyno graph and vids coming shortly! I just road in it and it sounds amazing, highway cruising the db reader was mid 90s, WOT right around 105db

sounds awesome!
